Hi! I'm Laura.

I started Chemistry Communications in 2007. Ever since I could hold a crayon, I've been writing and experimenting with art & design.

Specializing in web content and marketing, I help businesses and organizations make the most out of the web. With experience and education in many forms of Communication - written and visual, creative and technical, I provide targeted solutions to individuals and small businesses that help to increase productivity, usability and profit.

I made a consicous choice not to take the traditinal route with my career. Instead, I freelance, giving me more flexibility in work and in life and enabling me to create a career I love.

I'm passionate about the internet and technology. It has allowed me to work remotely for companies around the world and often with people I haven't met in person. I'm a citizen of both Canada and the UK and divide my time between the two. If it's necessary for me to work in-house, I can do so in both countries as well as in the European Union.

I have built relationships with other contractors who offer their expertise when needed, allowing me to expand my service offerings and turn around projects in less time.

I'm focused on bringing the power of the internet into the hands of the small business owner. I work on creative marketing solutions and show you how to implement them. Don't worry if your computer skills aren't great! I'll teach you all you need to know to make the internet work for your business.
