I have worked with Chemistry Communications for several years. Laura has always been a delight to work with. When I first wanted to create a web page I had no knowledge at all of how it functioned, Laura took the time to explain some technical essentials that were crucial for a successful web page. Laura was able to communicate using language that even I could understand, this helped me recognize how important it was to be dealing with someone who is able to know the technical ins and outs yet still be able to explain in simple terms to a newbie like me. She was very patient, courteous, and professional at all times.
Her understanding of how the web works has made my web site accessible and easy to locate. I have many great comments about the ease of navigation for my site; the colourful representation of my work; the layout. It is important that a web page reflects who you are and what your business is. It is also important that it be easy to navigate, easy to find, easy to work with.
I have had my site for several years now, most of my traffic for my business comes directly from the web. I have come to appreciate how valuable the web is. We are now currently working to enhance my site by adding content management and pay pal, this will take a little time before I launch these additions. Content management will be first, this will then give me access to update small amounts of info for myself, which will be more cost effective for me.

Laura is very well informed on many subjects which helps her be able to understand the needs of her clients. She is able to capture the essence of their business and create effective web sites. The quality of work is of very high standards. Laura is well educated and is able to edit text accurately for spelling and grammar. I often have Laura check flyers or projects before they go to print. Laura edited a bio on a flyer that I did, she changed the wording so that it was more effective,it read much better than I could have written, it flowed, it used terms or phrases that expressed exactly the context of what I wanted to say.
Laura is very articulate, creative, and conceptual. She is able to co create with you, she listens well and hears what you are saying. She works with you to create your project. I had a colleague who went to —— to do her site. The price was much cheaper, he promised a wonderful web page. He created a web page in the style he thought the customers would relate to. It did not reflect anything of the personality of the colleague, it did not relate to the topic or business, it was basically a disaster. I had recommended Chemistry Communications to this colleague, but she thought she was getting a better price going with this other company. It was a costly experience and a complete waste of money. This colleague then went to Chemistry and they have done her site…. wow!! it captures her so well, she is thrilled as it truly reflects her love of green, it coordinates with her flyers and business card, it is a clean site, the header bar at the top is motion so adds energy to her site. My colleague is very excited with the results.. money well spent, she wishes she had gone this route in the first place.
Laura has always been available for consultations or follow up. She builds relationships well and provides much support. Laura endeavours to meet deadlines, she works diligently and is committed to her word. She has high expectations for herself and the work she produces. She takes great pride in her work. Costs, well… I got value for my money, it was well spent. I am continuing to work with Chemistry Communication and I continue to recommend their services any opportunity I get. I have heard many stories from people who have struggled to find a person to create a web page that is truly representative of what they need, or of some very expensive set ups. Some fees are outrageous for what you get in return.
I know a person who has spent $10000, and they are still not live with their site. It does depend on how much content or how interactive you want your site to be. This is another aspect I liked about Chemistry Communications, we worked with what was a reasonable budget for me just starting out. then we began to build onto the site as time progressed. The important thing is to get your site up and running as soon as possible, get it out there. Another friend had a site done, by another person. It was lovely…but no one could find it. It was dormant and again a waste of money. This is something Laura understands, your site will be easy to find when people are searching the net.
