What’s it going to take to build your empire?
If you’ve done much research into web design and marketing services, you’ve probably heard this before, but it’s true – it depends. Without having details of exactly what you need, what your current situation is, and what your goals are, it’s tough tell you exactly how much your project will cost. When inquiring, please give us as much information as you can.
Here’s what we can tell you:
Our base rate is $75 (£50) per hour. Our services are aimed at small business, nonprofits and public sector clients who know the value that marketing brings to their organization.
Web Design
Custom websites are available on monthly plans, or can be purchased outright for $2500. Template sites are $49 per month, paid until you no longer need the site. Custom sites are $125 per month, for 24 months, and beyond that you can downgrade to $79 per month if you want us to continue with maintenance & updates. In each case, there is a setup fee.

Internet Marketing
Internet marketing plans are available on monthly retainer options and include websites. We do not provide internet marketing for websites that we did not build, because the majority of companies who do web design only do not consider marketing when they build your site. Most sites built in this way need to be redone to be effective for marketing purposes.
For a website plus basic SEO, the cost is $249 per month. Additional SEO, blog/email newsletter writing services, and social media updates are available on our $399 per month plan. Beyond your 24 month plan, you can downgrade to $79 per month if you want us to continue with maintenance & updates.
Additional services including video editing, pay-per-click management, additional social media marketing and increased blog article writing are also available. We can build a package suited to your needs. Please ask us!
We may need a contingency budget to take care of print costs, postage, software, third-party applications (CRM, email marketing etc.), pay-per-click or other advertising if you need a custom plan. We will create a marketing outline with you when we begin working together, and will scale our plans according to the budget you have.
One-on-One Training
The fee per 3 hour session is $225, or $150 per person for up to 4 people. More about one-on-one marketing coaching here.
Marketing Workshops
Fees for Level 1 & Level 2 internet marketing workshops for small business in 2012 are $325 for 4 workshop sessions (3 hours each).
Project Consulting: Web Editing & Project Management
Day rates can be agreed for these services depending on the timeframe of your project. For an average 3 month in-house project, Laura’s day rate would be in the region of $400 (£250) depending on the task at hand. We are open to reducing this rate if you can offer flexible working arrangements – the more we can work off-site, the happier we are to negotiate. What about businesses who can’t afford it?
If you don’t have the budget for custom website or internet marketing help, please keep an eye out for upcoming workshops that we may be running in your area. By attending the workshops, you can learn how to do some of this yourself. You’ll gain enough knowledge to get yourself started online, and you can get back to us when the funds are available for custom work.
